Tom Kelley
President
Tom went to work for his dad at Jim Kelley Buick in 1974 after graduating from Indiana University in Bloomington. In 1981 he became General Manager of Jim Kelley Buick. In November 1983, Tom bought the dealership from his father who had been in the automotive business for 31 years. Tom continued to expand and operates the dealerships to the present.
Gary Thelen
CFO
Gary graduated from Marquette University and has an MBA from Indiana University. Gary was with GE Capital and then in 1991 went to work as CFO for the Kelley Family, he sits on the board for Turnstone, an organization committed to empowering people with disabilities.
Jim Kelley
V.P. of Operations
Jim graduated from Indiana University and then earned a Master's in international Trade & Transport from London Guildhall University. He also graduated from NADA Dealer Academy. Jim has worked in the family automotive business since 2004 as GM of various stores & Executive Vice President in charge of operations for the group.
Maureen Clausen
Executive Assistant, Extraordinaire
Maureen graduated with honors from George Washington University in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. She then pursued her graduate studies as a recipient of a Teacher's Fellowship at George Washington University. Maureen received her Master of Arts in Spanish & Latin American Literature in 1973. After graduation she worked as Executive Assistant to Lawrence Marcus of Neiman-Marcus in Houston for 10 years before relocating to Fort Wayne with her husband to join the Kelley Group.
Matthew Bennett
Controller
Matt Graduated from Purdue University in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. After graduation he spent 3 years working with the public accounting firm Crowe Horwath. In 2007 Matt received his CPA designation & spent 3 years working for the Public Accounting Oversight Board in Washington D.C. He is very excited to have recently joined the Kelley Automotive Group.
